15/12/2007 - Alan Holey's 2007 Christmas Offerings

Alan worked on 2 of this year's top Christmas shows. Both shows were very poular but of different origins.

Christmas Day saw at prime time the special edition of "To The Manor Born". Recorded on location and at Pinewood Studios this hour long production brought together Penelope Keith, Peter Bowles and Angela Thorne in the roles they made famous some 20 years ago

4 days in the beautiful highlands of Scotland produced this year's "One Man and His Dog". Though now only made once a year to be shown at Christmas, this long running show is as popular as ever.

18.12.2005 - Alan Holey's contribution to Christmas Television

Alan Holey's contribution to Christmas Television can be seen this year on BBC TV on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Alan worked with Camera Supervisor Tony Keene on the top two situation comedy Christmas Specials "My Family" and "As Time Goes By".

Both these programs transmitted on BBC1 were DLT productions directed by Dewi Humphries and Sid Lotterby respectively. Not only are these two programs fine examples of top quality acting, directing and scriptwriting but also multi camerawork at it`s best.
